Description:
This project involved an addition and total renovation of the existing house. One of the main features of the house is the sunken family room which is open to the kitchen. These two spaces share a main element—a stone fireplace. The family room is open and airy with the large doors and windows allowing a generous amount of light to enter the space. It also connects to a generous exterior patio located in the rear yard. The kitchen is the main hub of the household which accommodates a busy family and allows for multitasking activities to take place.
